Leadership Development at the Centre

Since 2002 leadership development has been as the centre of our capacity building work. So central is leadership development, that it has been incorporated as a strategy into all the Centre’s capacity building activities for both government officials and CSO actors. Leadership development is incorporated in all thematic areas, in particular early childhood development and reproductive health interventions. Leadership development activities include, in-country leadership development training programs based on participatory methods and an innovative curriculum. Leadership development activities also include mentoring, design and coordination of study tours, documentation of success stories of transformation and support for action plans of leaders through mini-grants.
